It is in 1991 that Christian Gaulin and his wife Isabelle take over the “Restaurant Pierre” situated 2 steps from the “Saone river” and the “Esplanade Lamartine”.

The chef who work with some of the greatest like Paul Blanc in Thoissey or even Jean Ducloux well known Chef of the “Restaurant Greuze” in Tournus, was rewarded his 1st Michelin star in 1997.

This star keeps shining, for the greatest pleasure of the gourmets that come to the “Restaurant Pierre”, in order to discover the inventive and authentic cooking of the chef.

By his side, his wife Isabelle supervises an attentive service in a relaxing atmosphere. She will guide you in the choices of the wines, issued from the Macon vineyards and diverse French regions, so that they adapt perfectly with the chefs’ dishes.
